Low Impact Exercis

Cant run because of a knee injury? Have brittle bone disorder? Been advised against high impact exercise? Yeah, sucks don’t it!
I have hyper-mobility in both my knees, basically meaning one wrong step and it dislocates. It HURTS! Thanks to this I also cant wear heels or dance for too long or any of those fun things.

Anyway I have been advised against high impact exercise. Everything from jogging to jumping jacks is off the menu until my knees get stronger. As such I have been trying to find the best low impact, high affect exercises I can to aid my weight loss.

Elliptical’s (cross trainers) are your best friend! There is pretty much no impact on your joints, the ‘poles’ help you to stabilise yourself and help if a joint gives out and you need to grab onto something.  And as a bonus its basically the motion of walking/jogging/running without the risk!
On the downside they are big, expensive and hard to store in the home, so a gym membership would be best with these.

I will be doing an update once a week with a new Low Impact Exercise! Look out for it

Does anyone else disagree with this?

I always find that starting things is the hardest bit. You have to break your habit, break your routine. Once they are broken you can smash them into a million pieces and let the new habits, and figure, shine through

Lauren Conrad’s Blog

Im not sure if many of you follow her blog or anything, but she has some really good weight loss/ healthy eating articles and exercise tips. I have honestly learnt so much from her blog which has given me a million ideas for things.

She recently posted a ‘7 days to skinny jeans’ meal and exercise plan which is actually quite good, but only if you are able to take packed lunches to school/college/uni/work etc. Also you need to keep in the back of your mind that theres no such thing as a quick fix with weight loss, but this seems like a perfect kick-start to the lifestyle change

Go to http://www.laurenconrad.com/post/shape-up-my-7-days-to-skinny-jeans-plan to see the plan and the rest of her blog

Thanks guys!

So sad!

I was writing a breakfast post for you guys but had to leave it to go out. Came back to my computer to see that the draft didn’t save so now I have to re-do the whole thing :(

Would you guys even find a breakfast post useful or like to read one? I have so much trouble with breakfast thanks to carbs and a lactose intolerance which rules out so many breakfasts that I would love to eat!

So lovely followers, if you would be interested drop me a message in my ask box. Even if it would only be helpful to one of you guys, I’d rather help one than none!!

Thanks lovelies!
